Entry with the Go Oahu Card
The Japanese Cultural Center of Hawai’i (JCCH), a non-profit organization, shares the history, heritage and culture of the evolving Japanese American experience in Hawai’i.
Follow the adventures of the courageous group of Japanese men and women beginning in the 1860s, continuing through the statehood of Hawai’i and into today. The JCCH proudly presents the exhibition, Okage Sama De: I am who I am because of you, that honors the journey of Japanese pioneers to Hawai’i and resonates with all ethnicities across the United States. The exhibit reveals the indelible legacies and values passed on from generation to generation and that are now weaved into the Hawai’i landscape. Note: Call for information on traveling exhibits and events.
