Surf the famous waves of Waikiki Beach, once the playground of the legendary Duke Kahanamoku and Hawaiian Royalty. When not surfing, the Duke and his friends would gather under a hau tree to entertain tourists. This was the beginning of the famous ÒBeach Boys of Waikiki.Ó
Now you can learn to surf under this same hau tree on Waikiki Beach near the Duke Kahanamoku statue. Our modern day beach boys at Hawaiian OceanÕs Waikiki teach lessons. All of our instructors are licensed by the State of HawaiÔi and have American Red Cross CPR, first aid and Lifesaving Certifications.
Lessons are customized for first timers of all ages to the more advanced surfer, where techniques can be refined and generally are at least one hour in length.
