Shannon B’s post about Eco-Friendly Oahu is creating some major blog buzz. David at The Good Human even included it in his Carnival of the Green and Tiffany at Nature Moms included it in her Carnival of Natural Family Living. Both offer plenty of other ideas on eco-savvy living including some money-saving tips, suggestions on recycling a Christmas tree, and more.

Do you keep a travel journal for documenting your travel adventures? Do you chronicle the amazing spots you discover as well as a list of attractions to never-ever-visit-again?
Though we can’t promise you a job alongside Samantha Brown or Anthony Bourdain on the Travel channel, you could be the next winner of our Go Review Contest.
Review any of our attractions in Oahu or our other destinations–a rave review or a not-so-nice one– and you could win Best Overall Review with a prize of an Amazon.com gift-card valued at $300! You’ll be judged not by your opinion, but how well you can paint a picture with your words, so get those fingers typing! Deadline is November 1.

As if Oahu’s gorgeous beaches weren’t enough of a reason to visit, the Associated Press reports that . The opening of the as yet unnamed resort is set for 2011. So, what do you think the new resort should be called? Here are a few of the (totally off the cuff) ideas we came up with:
- The Magic Island
- Disney’s Oahu Oasis
- Pluto’s Tropical Paradise
- Neverland (if only Michael Jackson hadn’t already appropriated that one!)
Just for fun, leave a comment with your own predictions!

Here at the Go Card USA headquarters, we’re constantly working on adding new attractions and finding other ways to improve your travel experience. That’s why we’re so excited about the newest addition to the Go Oahu Card, which is… drum roll, please…
Four hour kayak rental!
This new attraction lets you spend a full four hours floating around Kailua and Lanikai Beach, which are two of the most idyllic spots in Oahu. This package includes everything you need (paddles, life jackets, and kayak) for a relaxed morning or afternoon of kayaking, so it’s sure to be a popular addition. If there’s another attraction that you would like to see added to the Go Oahu Card, leave a comment and let us know!
